OSTA Member Scholarship

The action taken at the June, 2010 annual meeting set up a new scholarship for “our own.” Each year a $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to the child or grandchild of one of our members. The funds will come from our normal scholarship account.

The attached “Application Form” explains the criteria and the process.

Please share this information with any of your children or grandchildren that you think would be a good candidate. You are the key to getting applications to the Scholarship Committee. We have no other link to potential recipients.

Here is the timeline we are working with.

• Completed forms must be submitted to the Scholarship Chair no later than March 31st of each year.
• Applicants will be interviewed during the month of April.
• The Scholarship Committee will make its decision in May.
• The award will be presented at the summer OSTA meeting in June.
